Killiney Kopitiam, Killiney Road

We made a pitstop here while waiting for the car tyres to be overhauled 2 shop spaces away.

This is the original Killiney Kopitiam (it IS located along Kiliney Road afterall, where it got its name), and arguably the best of its many branches throughout the island.

As we were about to hit the gym, we figured we might as well refuel here. We ordered the Soft-Boiled Eggs ($0.60 each), a slippery mess of comforting flavours. Add a couple drops of dark soy and a dash of white ground pepper, and you have a protein-rich snack.

We also got their Bread Toast ($0.80 per piece), savoury homemade coconut jam (kaya) with a slab of luscious butter sandwiched in a warm toasted crusty bread.
