Cafe d'Azur, Lotte World, Seoul, South Korea
This was a quick pick-me-up at one of the numerous fast food joints in the Lotte World theme park. Yes, we couldn't resist hitting the overrun-with-teenagers theme park when we went to Seoul. Although Lotte World is the largest theme park in South Korea, it didn't quite impress me as much as it did Ernie. Of course, the horror-striken looks on his face when he was on some of the really scary rides was unforgettably hilarious. I was practically rolling on the floor with laughter while watching him on some of the rides.
Ernie got a 3 pcs chicken (7,000 Won) for sharing. This was really quite good, juicy, succulent and huge, with crackling skin that was fried to a golden crisp. I liked that it tasted quite fresh and didn't have that yucky, stale, frozen meat aftertaste.
The European facade of the fast food terrace, next to the Camelot Carousel, which, incidentally, we had a ride on. We were probably the oldest persons on the kid-centred ride. Ah well, never too late to return to the age of innocence, huh?
