Secret Recipe, CPF Building
Secret Recipe is one of the largest mid-range cafe chains in Malaysia and serves up one of the most comprehensive varieties of cakes. They also have a fair amount of Asian dishes with western influences. I had lunch with Yas there one afternoon. We weren't very hungry so we shared a soup and drink.
The Lychee Frosty Fruit Juice ($4.90) was a little pricey, but yummy and refreshing. Bits of lychee were swirled into the icy concoction.
The Cream of Mushroom Soup ($4.20) tasted straight out of a can, limpid and weak, but I gave it some brownie points as it was supplemented with some sliced champignons.
