Subway, Keypoint

Everytime I think about Subway, I'll think about the hilarious Southpark episode "Jared Has Aids". Basically, it's a lesson that weight loss is not just about eating healthily (i.e. with Subway's healthy low-fat Subs), it's also about regular exercise. I love this adult parody cartoon. Even if it's extremely vulgar, it's clever, funny, witty and always carries a brilliant message.

We wanted something light so we went to Subway for dinner. Of course we got their Foot-Long Subs. 6-Inches wouldn't be enough. My favourite's the Cold Cut Trio ($7.80), with turkey bologna, turkey ham and turkey salami on aromatic freshly baked Parmesan Oregano Bread. Add crisp lettuce, tomatoes, olives, melted cheese, drizzle some tangy barbecue sauce and toast the whole thing, and you get a complete dinner with carbs, protein, fat and fibre.

The BF got the Subway Melt ($9.50), with turkey, ham, bacon, cucumbers, juicy tomatoes and warm melted cheese toasted over Parmesan oregano bread. A generous slathering of honey mustard sauce and a delicious dinner sub awaits.

I don't eat processed meat THAT much anyway. And really, South Korea won't have Kim Jong II magnets. Maybe in the North, but I'm not going there.
