Imperial Treasure Nan Bei Restaurant, Suntec City

It was a relatively empty restaurant when we popped by for dinner after a run one particular evening. We wanted Cantonese dim sum but they had unfortunately run out of the same. So we ordered from the Shanghainese dim sum selection instead.

We got the Wantons in Hot Chili Sauce ($4.20), pork and vegetable wantons doused in a fiery and tangy vinegar-infused chili oil.

We also got the Bbq Pork Noodles ($6), thin springy noodles lightly tossed in premium soya based sauce and topped with thick slices of sweet and smoky bbq pork.

What's a meal without soup? I got my fave, the Pork and Vegetable Wanton Soup ($4.50), which is really really really cheap for a generous serving of 6 juicy wantons in a base of delicate wholesome chicken soup.
