Imperial Treasure Nan Bei Restaurant, Suntec City

It was one of those damp drizzle-filled evenings that we ended up at Imperial Treasure for dinner.

We wanted something familiar and comforting so we got the Mushroom Chicken Congee ($6.50), porridge so smooth it has taken on the consistency of a smoothie. This was hearty and chock-full of succulent chicken pieces and thickly sliced Chinese black mushrooms.

We also got a few dim sum dishes, the Deep Fried Beancurd Skin Roll with Prawns ($4.20), juicy prawns wrapped in crackling crispy beancurd skin, which came served with Worcestershire dipping sauce. This was not too oily, which is always a plus.

Of course we got the BF's favourite Steamed Bbq Pork Buns ($3), ever so fluffy and fragrant.

And my favourite soup, the Pork and Vegetable Wanton Soup ($4.50), with 2 extra servings of soup ($1 each extra bowl) to round off the dinner.
